FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

The minimum age to throw axes is 10 if supervised by an adult over the age of 18.  Younger children are welcome in our facility to observe. Please contact us directly to discuss details.

Children 16 and above can throw axes without supervision.

Waivers for minors must be completed by an adult over the age of 18.

Axe throwing is very safe! It is important that you listen to and follow all the safety rules, but if you do, it is a very safe sport. It is one of the safest throwing experiences you can have, as our targets are easier to stick (so you don’t have to throw as hard), and our safety-designed target system helps minimize bounces!

CLOSED-TOE SHOES MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. No one will be permitted to participate without the proper shoes.   So, no flip flops, bare feet, sandals, etc. For the rest of your body, loose comfortable clothing is a good idea. Picture the throwing motion, so you will not want to wear anything that restricts that movement.

We do accept walk-ins if there is availability, but it’s always best to book online to assure availability.

Up to six players may be on a lane.

There is limited space in the throwing areas, but if you keep the spectators to a minimum, that should be fine. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed to throw axes but can observe as a spectator. Our facilities at the Axe House and the Dugout are not set up for children but they are welcome.

We have seven lanes.

All bookings of a minimum of two people will have a private lane.
